Dispute over timeline: Slovenia at the Olympics[edit]

Hello, in order to clarify this dispute here, I would like you to explain in detail what exactly you find confusing. This simple snapshot of Slovenian history is by no means irrelevant or unnecessary (as User:Tone claimed) for Olympic history of Slovenia. And to the Olympic history of Slovenia, this timeline is also an insight as an overview-eyecatcher into the consequences for the Olympic history of the successor states for those who are unfamiliar with the topic of the breakup of Yugoslavia. Furthermore, this timeline also avoids the nationalist tendencies of the successor states claiming past successes for themselves alone.

I don't see dispute or issues all. The entire history is well-explained both in the intro and in the pre-independence sections. Also, this is a featured list so I'd be highly conservative with unnecessary additions. --Tone 12:36, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm also in favor of a conservative attitude towards featured lists, but I don't see this as a violation here, but rather as a contribution that adheres to the schemes of featured lists.
However, if the consensus is that it isn't necessary, since this is explained in text form, I won't insist. It was actually just a concern for me for those who were not familiar with the breakup of Yugoslavia to create an overall overview and get through the sports history of the former states of Yugoslavia. - Miria~01 (talk) 13:09, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I understand your reasoning. But, I believe it is well described in the text, and all cases that could be misinterpreted are explained (for example why Vinko Jelovac is not listed and what was the situation with Jakov Fak, Iztok Puc, and some others.) Thank you for your efforts, though, great team work :) --Tone 16:17, 14 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
