– The dictionary definition of sniffling is "to sniff repeatedly", and some of the content of the current article (including the lead) is in terms of a single sniff. The article may read better with the more formal "sniff" as its subject. Belbury (talk) 08:38, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
