Orphaned references in Christopher Daniels and Kazarian[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Christopher Daniels and Kazarian's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "OWOW":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 00:25, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Influence is NOT EGO[edit]

Bad Influence is the Tag Team of Daniels and Kazarian. EGO is Bad Influence and Boddy Roode. The page should reflect that and maybe get EGO its own page. Either way they should be separate. 72.161.85.65 (talk) 20:49, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

SoCal Uncensored (professional wrestling)SoCal UncensoredSoCal Uncensored is currently a redirect to Southern California Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame. Its only connection to the name "SoCal Uncensored" is that its official website is hosted at a domain called socaluncensored.com. The wrestling stable is the better primary topic. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 08:02, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, agree this is the primary topic. McPhail (talk) 11:35, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment the domain has been around since 2012, so if the stable becomes primary topic, it needs to have a hatnote "This article is about the wrestling stable. For the website see Southern California Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame." Also SoCalUncensored.com or socaluncensored.com should redirect to the hall of fame as the primary sponsor with the opposite hatnote. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 15:52, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    As an update, I created SoCalUncensored.com and clarified the hatnotes. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 16:04, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(professional wrestling) is too vague and should be stricken or disambiguated, since both the website AND the stable are related to professional wrestling. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 16:06, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Agree that SoCalUncensored.com is a good natural disambiguation. My edits to point to this new link, however, have been reverted by other users. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 17:32, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I also created SoCal Uncensored (website) as a redirect so that should be used instead. 162.208.168.92, you should ask the editors who reverted to chime in on this discussion. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:38, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please make yourself comfortable with the procedure for a requested move at Wikipedia:Requested moves, the move had been requested today, has only one "vote" so far and it will not be realized before the discussion can be closed, the earliest time for this is one week from today. The Edits had been reverted because they were totally unexplained in their Edit Summaries. CommanderWaterford (talk) 17:43, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'll admit I jumped the gun; however I have to think that the SoCal Uncensored website, which doesn't even have its own article, is very unlikely to be the primary topic. 162.208.168.92 (talk) 18:08, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As a note, I am not voting on whether the move should be done or not, but it is a case where one of the subjects has a full article on it (the stable) and the other is mainly a redirect (the website). AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:45, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support with a hatnote on this article. – DarkGlow • 19:02, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Wow, the edit history of the target is probably the most interesting I've ever seen, see here. Maybe check me but I don't think any of it needs preserving, but the discussion there is relevant. My conclusion is that the hall of fame is clearly not a valid primary redirect, and the disambiguation of the stable name is unnecessary. Andrewa (talk) 20:17, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: But if this closes as moved I'm sure closer would appreciate help with the incoming links this will break! There are less than 100 in all and only the article space ones really concern us, but there will probably be quite a few of these that will need fixing. See User:Andrewa/sandbox and feel free to edit it to flag there any you have checked or fixed. Technically this is the closer's responsibility but give them a break, morally it's the job of all supporters of the move IMO. Andrewa (talk) 20:40, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: I am not against the page move, but it might be worth noting that the bulk of this article is about the Daniels/Kazarian tag team rather than the stable itself. The article has been moved several times to whatever Daniels and Kazarian were going by at the time, so can I suggest that the Daniels/Kazarian part would be split to "SoCal Uncensored (tag team)"? APM (talk) 17:08, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
APM, I don't see why it would need to be split further by tag team. Compare with The Undisputed Era. Having separate tag team and stable articles would weaken it from being primary topic and then it should be a disambiguation along with the website. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 18:40, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
On second thoughts, the common name for Daniels/Kazarian would probably be "The Addiction (professional wrestling)", so ignore what I said! APM (talk) 04:55, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
