No reference for birthplace[edit]

It was mentioned in the article that the actress was born in Tenali but the references linked do not support the statement at all. SuswethaK (talk) 07:24, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth[edit]

thehindu says aged 27 as of 16 January, 2020, which renders as: 1992 or 1993 (age 31–32)
hindustantimes says aged 28 as of 17 October, 2020, which renders as: 1991 or 1992 (age 31–32)
So the only thing both refs agree on is a birth year of 1992. Neither state a specific date, or month, or day of birth. Geniac (talk) 02:45, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Continuing since this was removed and restored....hopefully we can get consensus per ONUS to retain something (at least the year of birth). It appears we can only deduce a year of birth using original research and neither talks about a specific month of day. With that, I am uneasy about adding a year (although I won't object), but we do not have either of these confirming a day or month. --CNMall41 (talk) 09:59, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've added an RS that mentions the full DOB, but since it is recent, I've kept the older two. One for background was restored because of this policy - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:07, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Then there is no reason to have the other two sources if the one shows us the DOB. Just my opinion but feel free to leave them all as I won't object. For caste, maybe I am reading the discussion wrong, but it would actually support the removal of the parent's names which is consistent with WP:BLPNAME.--CNMall41 (talk) 10:41, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
BLPNAME says: "This is generally interpreted by the community to include the removal of names of non-notable minors from articles about their notable family members, such as when a notable individual births or sires a non-notable minor." Her parents are not minors. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 06:50, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with that interpretation for the portion the footnote represents. However, I am pointing specifically to "Consider whether the inclusion of names of living private individuals who are not directly involved in an article's topic adds significant value." I don't see any value in adding the names. --CNMall41 (talk) 07:04, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They are her parents, and it's very common to list the name of parents, and are done so in every FA-quality article, from Christopher Nolan to Taylor Swift. If it were her non-notable children or other relatives being named, I'd object to that, but not her parents. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 07:16, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just looking at Taylor Swift, her parents are in MANY reliable sources, including a feature in People Magazine, talking about their influence on her. The removal I made was based on a single source of the subject stating her parent's names. However, I did a more in-depth search online and see that this is not the only reference. Dhulipala's parents are in fact discussed in quite a few reliable sources so do not see it as an issue at this point.--CNMall41 (talk) 04:28, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
