Proposed deletion

[edit]

It seems like the first step would be to merge SEAMUS Lifetime Achievement Award here. Hyacinth (talk) 04:31, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Merging with International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music should be considered. Hyacinth (talk) 04:56, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like quite a few references mention SEAMUS, as if it were notable. Hyacinth (talk) 08:11, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Hyacinth: As I mentioned on your talk page, I have created an AfD discussion for this article here. SEAMUS Lifetime Achievement Award can most likely be nominated for speedy deletion if this article is deleted. Thanks for your contributions! TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 19:15, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why would you thank me for contributions you want deleted? Hyacinth (talk) 14:25, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Hyacinth: Contributing to Wikipedia can be a thankless endeavor sometimes; just because I think the article's subject isn't notable enough doesn't mean I think your work should be disregarded. The two aren't mutually exclusive. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 17:45, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Then you'd consider a merge. Or the number of citations. Hyacinth (talk) 06:28, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia can be thankless, but that's the best case scenario. Hyacinth (talk) 06:33, 23 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Hyacinth: I hope it's clear that I'm not using the deletion process as an attack on you or your work, it's simply what I feel is best for Wikipedia. I'm always open to discussing whether we can use an alternative to deletion; if you have a suggestion for a pertinent merge, feel free to oppose the deletion on the discussion page. As for the citations, as an administrator, you know better than I that the sheer number of sources means nothing if none of them are reliable. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 00:42, 24 March 2023 (UTC) (please Reply to icon mention me on reply)[reply]
@Hyacinth: For your benefit, the discussion is closed and SEAMUS Lifetime Achievement Award has been merged in. TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 02:48, 27 March 2023 (UTC) (please Reply to icon mention me on reply)[reply]

Discography

[edit]

It seems reasonable to add the composers featured on Music from SEAMUS, beginning with Vol. 1, buy not while up for deletion. Hyacinth (talk) 05:31, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
