Primary sources tag[edit]

I've removed the primarysources tag from the article. I can see why it was added, but I think in the case of organisations a "common sense" exception can be made. Furthermore, finding such references will be difficult - while the Scorton Arrow tournament makes regular appearances in news sources, the Society of Archers doesn't. I certainly haven't managed to find any, despite a thorough search of likely sources. I'll keep an eye open for reliable references, but if they exist they're likely to be in print form rather than on the Web. Mr Barndoor (talk) 16:13, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Scorton Arrow[edit]

This article is short, it duplicates the information in the Scorton Arrow article and describes an organisation whose principal purpose (from their website) seems to be to organise the tournament. To me this meets the overlap criterion in Help:Merging_and_moving_pages and therefore can be usefully merged with a re-direct.WhaleyTim (talk) 08:05, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's much better - a discussion instead of just a template. :) The only reason I created this article was because some template commando insisted on creating a red link to the Society of Archers in the Scorton Arrow article. Otherwise, I wouldn't have bothered. Quite happy for you to merge the articles. Mr Barndoor (talk) 08:50, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
