Wikied assignment

[edit]
  • Main edits are fixing verb tenses
  • I'd suggest changing the word "also" some of the times you say it so it's less repetitive
  • I work in the entertainment industry, so I edited the section about pitching her shows
  • Overall, this was a great article and is personally interesting to me since Alexander works in television. I think the information is conveyed in a clear and concise way. I also love the mention of Lord of the Rings and Legend of Zelda

Hmm, that probably is a good idea. I would be fine with making the section on Onyx Equinox more concise, as it takes up a good chunk of the page currently. Yeah, I find her interesting too and everything that influenced her! Historyday01 (talk) 05:13, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The previous notices

[edit]

@User:Bbarmadillo, since you were the one you added the unreliable sources notice, if you wouldn't mind going through the sources and explaining which parts you believe have "unreliable sources" and where there is "original research," because I think I removed most of that, although there may be some sources which are not as good as other sources. I believe I've only scratched the surface with sources for Alexander and I'm guessing there are a LOT more out there. I loosely based the changes I made on the Vivienne Medrano article's format. First of all, you should not be deleting tags placed on the page without a discussion at the Talk page. You can read more about reliable sources at the guideline. Please not that not all the information qualifies as a good source, since the sources should also be independent. As an example, interviews are not independent. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 18:20, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see a problem with deleting the tags if additional sources have been added. I'm all for discussions on a talk page, but there's no rule that I am aware of which says I have to engage in discussion before deleting tags. I am fully aware about the reliable sources guidelines, but WP:INDY is NOT a guideline, as noted on WP:INFOPAGES, its basically a supplement to the rules, so that lowers it in terms of being useful, especially since the word interview is only mentioned in passing on the WP:INDY page, and not at all on the WP:SOURCE section, or on the WP:V page. In terms of the interviews, we must remember that "the reliability of a source depends on context" per WP:CONTEXTMATTERS and in this case, I would say the interviews "directly support the information as it is presented in the Wikipedia article." Anyway, without any thoughts on what sources specifically you were thinking of, I guess I am a bit on my own on this one. Oh well. I suppose it was worth a try to post this anyhow. --Historyday01 (talk) 00:52, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
