First female neurosurgeon[edit]

Although Sofia Ionescu can be considered one of the first female neurosurgeons in the world, the world's first female neurosurgeon was probably Diana Beck according to a March 2008 article in the Journal of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. — CactusWriter | ^needles 21:23, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
