Accreditation and financial woes[edit]

I recently added information to this article regarding its well-documented accreditation and financial woes; in brief, the institution has been struggling for several years and its regional accreditor has placed been critical with its most recent action to place the college on "show cause" status which is its most serious warning status. A new editor reverted those additions without any discussion or edit summary and didn't respond to my questions on his or her Talk page asking for an explanation. I've reinserted the information since (a) the other editor has refused to discuss his or her concerns, (b) the citations are reliable (and many more could be provided if necessary), and (c) this information is indisputably important to help readers understand this college.

I caution other editors who delete without discussion well-sourced and important information from this or any other article that such actions quickly stretch the bounds of good faith and continued actions along those lines will probably lead to a block. We welcome your concerns and participation but editing a Wikipedia article solely to promote your point of view is unacceptable. ElKevbo (talk) 00:29, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
