"Saros" as proper noun

[edit]

The move to lowercase Saros has been reverted for three reasons:

  1. Saros is shown to be a proper noun by NASA in the external link,
  2. To promote consistency in {{Solar eclipses}}, and
  3. Redirects may be cheap, but they do not work in templates, i.e., the topic will not be in bold in a template on the topic page if the item in the template is a redirect. – Paine Ellsworth ( CLIMAX )  20:38, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
