Userbox[edit]

I saw this eclipse. Any chance a userbox could be created that says "I saw the 1999 eclipse"?--Energman 11:44, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Globe[edit]

Does anyone have a newer picture? I think the reunion of Germany took place in 1990... 194.94.240.61 (talk) 13:06, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I never really looked close at them. The source comes from NASA, and I'd not expect old astronomical events to be updated for political boundaries. Tom Ruen (talk) 02:18, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Romanian Banknote[edit]

The caption of the picture of the Romanian banknote reads...

"Special 2,000 Romanian leu paper made for the 1999 total eclipse of the sun, showing the eclipse path over the nation map."

I don't understand what the relevance of "paper" in this caption is, not least as the banknote is polymer (plastic). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.111.162.127 (talk) 09:46, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate Citations[edit]

The two citations >KryssTal - Eclipse in Cornwall (UK)—totality not seen but scene photographed >The 1999 Eclipse in England Actually lead to the same website while being listed separately under different names in the sources — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.160.112.245 (talk) 18:42, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've deleted the second of the two links to the website. Only one link remains now.TowardsTheLight (talk) 21:11, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
