We need to know more about how Rahme/Solidarity gravitated towards the March 8 Alliance. From the narative currently on this page (31March2010) it looks much more natural allied with the March 14 grouping.

Some other comments;-

Overall the tone of the article is too positive - does not feel objective. Take;- "Moreover, throughout those years, Rahme’s dedication for his society was not put aside". This is gratuitous praise - it should be cut.

This is simply out-of-sequence (2008, 2003 ?) "In addition to all that, Rahme is an active member and spokesperson of the Follow-up Committee for the “National Christian Union” ( اللقاء الوطني المسيحي) since 2008. Finally, in 2003, Rahme was elected by the Lebanese Parties as the coordinator for the Palestinian “Right of Return” and “Objection Against Resettlement”."

Overall there is a great opportunity here to explain why this interesting figure and party are currently at odds with the majority of the Maronite groupings (LF/Phalangist) - and what they have in common with 'the left (!)'. One should draw out what is distinctive in the Solidarity viewpoint - in a balanced and obviously objective way.

I don't know enough about the facts to supply this narrative and commentary myself.

We should also point out that his party is composed of himself and his wife, you can reference one of his tv interviews from march 2012. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.116.96.244 (talk) 15:24, 5 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
