Irresponsible[edit]

I just finished cleaning up the page and adding a little bit of information. What is sad is that it only took me a few minutes to do this. What is even worse is that the person who started this page simply cut and paste it from the Jewish encyclopedia article from 1901. That is bad scholarship in my eyes. The user should have at least rewritten the material and consulted a more current secondary source for additional info. They didn't even provide a death date for him because the Jewish Encyclopedia article was written while he was still alive. Before I cleaned the page up, it made it seem like he was still alive. Hopefully most people were smart enough to realize the man was not 144 years old (as of 2010). --Ghostexorcist (talk) 19:38, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
