berd/bred[edit]

Henryrscharf and Brandon.palmer: You've both recently changed "remember'd" in the current version of line 13 to "rememb'red", and I have reverted you. Please understand, I am not objecting to your bringing this alternate punctuation to our readers' notice. I encourage you to research different opinions on the typography of this line and add a summary with citations to this article. But when we quote a source (in this case, an edition of the Sonnets) we are obliged to quote verbatim. There is no perfect answer to what edition to use as the main text in these articles, but after many years of chaos, I believe we now display the best overall choice. If you care, you can review some of my reasoning at User:Phil wink/Sonnet Uniformity Act#Text. I'm happy to discuss further here, if you like. Cheers.
