Possible Improvements

[edit]

I think the article can be improved adding the following.

  • There can be a section about related conferences and journals.
  • Overview of available open-source software tools that can help researchers in this field.
  • List of highly referred academic articles.
  • Adding it to proper categories in wikipedia.

Major changes

[edit]

I made major changes to the article, adding an historical overview of the field, a list of subfields, and deleting the parts that I thought were not so relevant to describe this academic field. I also added categories.

It can be improved by explaining more the different research topics, adding references and a list of research center that are active in the field.
