I moved to South Yemen insurgency (2009–present) as that's the usual naming and the 1994 civil war might be regarded as an insurgency.--TheFEARgod (Ч) 14:58, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Errors in the article[edit]

According to an edit summary with the German article (http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=S%C3%BCdjemen-Aufstand&action=historysubmit&diff=86489319&oldid=86476273) the article contradicts sources given in the article. Sarcelles (talk) 20:37, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

AQAP[edit]

I wonder if AQAP should be listed as a belligerent in this article. While they talk about support for the movement, I don't see much evidence that they are fighting together (though it would benefit President Saleh to say they are). The Islamists' fight against the regime is something separate separate from the South Yemen Movement. Njsamizdat (talk) 19:31, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

End date[edit]

After an edit by EkoGraf, the infobox says the insurgency ended on 18 March 2015 because it "Escalated into a full-scale civil war with foreign intervention". To me, that sounds like it's actually still going on? If not, Insurgency in Yemen would need to be updated. -- Beland (talk) 11:44, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
