Dear all: there is a bit of a conflict here. According to the Edmonton Journal Page, the Edmonton Journal was established by local businessmen in 1904 and was then purchased by Southam. According to this page, the Edmonton Journal was purchased by Southam in 1897 before Southam existed. How do we deal with this conflict? Which is correct?

The content on this page is a duplicate of Postmedia Network and Southam Inc.. I will be redirecting to Postmedia page and breaking the content into its two essential pieces. Postmedia News is the journalist branch of Postmedia Network. Please provide proof if you do not believe this is true since I could find none. I will restore Southam Inc. Page since the majority of this content is relevant to that newspaper. (ArctcBanana (talk) 14:34, 25 October 2020 (UTC))[reply]

Postmedia NewsSoutham Inc. – The content on this page is about Southam Inc. The minor information relevant to Postmedia News already exists on Postmedia Network page with greater detail and better context. Postmedia News is the journalist branch of Postmedia Network according to Postmedia and its subsidiaries. I could not find any proof that it is a separate company. This content is better placed under Southam Inc. which no longer exists and is a historic newspaper. Postmedia News should redirect to Postmedia Network which is known as Postmedia News or Postmedia ArctcBanana (talk) 15:29, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
