Misleading, boosterism

[edit]

The article claims: "A writing system exists for Southern Bantu languages called Isibheqe". This is a minor private project. This Wikipedia page is being abused to publicize the project.2600:1000:B109:9F96:7131:9944:A65E:19E8 (talk) 16:52, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Is Shona included?

[edit]

The article is unclear whether it includes Shona as a Southern Bantu language. It is included in the family tree in the Languages topic. The introductory paragraph mentions the exclusion of Shona, without making it clear whether Shona is generally excluded from Southern Bantu languages or from Guthrie's Bantu Zone S. From the Bantu Zone S link, I see Shona is in it. I'll see if I can fix the introductory paragraph, but I don't know enough to clarify the article as a whole.
