could do with a map, somehting like this page http://www.midkentwater.co.uk/images/maps%20and%20diagrams/map-solid%20geology%201500.jpg , showing which company has which area (for drinking water) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pickle UK (talkcontribs) 19:52, 3 May 2006 (GMT).

I agree. There used to be just such a map on the company's website, but it looks like they've had a redesign and I can't find it any more. It would be under copyright anyway, but they might be willing to release it. Waggers 08:27, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The map is now at http://www.southernwater.co.uk/corporate/aboutUs/areaOfOperation.asp But still need to check copyright.

Fair use rationale for Image:SouthernWaterLogo.gif

[edit]

Image:SouthernWaterLogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Defamatory statements

[edit]

I've deleted two statements from the article: "The Scottish Power period was the most damaging to the company due to the reduction of company assets for little financial gain and a reduction of investment into the company" and "Continuing poor publicity surrounds the sewer which serves the Nailbourne Valley in East Kent." Neither of these comments is supported by a reference, without which they could be viewed as defamatory. In addition, the entire article is extremely short of references, and a couple of references are not presented in the manner normally seen on Wikipedia. The whole thing would benefit from a major copyedit ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 10:39, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
