name of the diocese

[edit]

"Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church in Spain and Portugal" is not correct name. Although this name is derived from the English text from official DECR website: "The Synod also decided to form a diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church in Spain and Portugal with the center in Madrid. Bishop Nestor of Korsun has been appointed as ruling bishop of the diocese of Spain and Portugal, with the title of ‘Bishop of Madrid and Lisbon’", it is necessary first of all to refer to the direct text of the decisions of the Holy Synod ("Minutes"), but not to press releases. "6. Образовать епархию Русской Православной Церкви в Испании и Португалии с центром в Мадриде. 7. Епархиальному архиерею Испанско-Португальской епархии иметь титул «Мадридский и Лиссабонский». 8. Преосвященному епископу Корсунскому Нестору быть епископом Мадридским и Лиссабонским." [1]. The diocesan page on Russian Orthodox Church denote it's name as Испанско-Португальская епархия i.e. Spanish-Portuguese diocese. The dioceseab official site denote it's name as "Мадридская и Лиссабонская епархия" i.e. "Madrid and Lisbon diocese". ~ Чръный человек (talk) 21:15, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
