Preceded to Viceroyalty of Peru?[edit]

"Spanish Guinea is preceded to Viceroyalty of Peru", But it was established in 1778 and between 1778 and 1810, it was administrated by Viceroyalty of Rio de la Plata. Why Viceroyalty of Peru is predecessor --Propatriamori (talk) 00:03, 18 July 2017 (UTC)?[reply]

Broken Article[edit]

This Article is extremely broken because: 1. Barely mentions the initial Spanish presence from 1778 to 1780. 2. The start date of the colony is quite unclear. 3. British presence is barely mentioned. 4. The Status of Spanish Guinea from 1780 to 1843 extremely foggy in the article. Kanto7 (talk) 08:52, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Adding to the brokenness, where is the evidence Portugual "made overtures to take it over in the 60s" Kanto7 (talk) 09:07, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Another problem is that it says the main article is the history of Equatorial Guinea, which itself has barely any info Kanto7 (talk) 21:00, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My opinion:

1- Governorate of Fernando Poo and Annobón (1778-1827) (need created) es:
2- British occupation of Fernando Poo (1827-1843) (need created) es:
3- Spanish Territories on the Gulf of Guinea (official name), shortened Spanish Guinea (1843-1968) (need redirect)
