My Fondest Memories of this race track where what I lived about 5 miles Southeast of the tract in at night could stand out in the street of my house and listen to the race the rumbling of the cars.

Later on a friend took me to my first race where I saw Leeroy Yarbrough run in a I think old Ford. There was a crash and then the inevitable pit Crews with hammers and wrenches walking to each other to have a fight. This sparked my love for cars and racing and continues on to this day.
