Disambiguation[edit]
I'm looking right now at a Kodachrome slide I took in June 1994 showing seaplanes docked at Juneau, Alaska. In the background is a small ship whose name Spirit of Glacier Bay is clearly visible. I first assumed that the Wikipedia article was incomplete and the ship moved to the west coast earlier than the article says, but after comparing my photo with the one in the Wikipedia article (and other sources such as [1][2][3]), I see that it's not the same ship.

The one I photographed may be about the same length as the one the article is about (it's hard to tell because my photo is looking toward the bow), but it has one less deck, and a narrower bridge. So evidently the ship the article is about took over a name that had been used before: whether by the same or another company, I don't know. --69.159.60.147 (talk) 02:47, 28 September 2017 (UTC)
