Avoiding poultices[edit]

"Infection of humans may be prevented by avoiding uncooked meat, infected water, and poultices."

How would a poultice cause transmission of the parasite? Is the poultice supposed to be a treatment? A preventive treatment? DCDuring (talk) 15:31, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
