Position of the ball[edit]
I believe one of the reasons the prize was awarded on the "most skilful" position, rather than the actual position, is that it is not allowed to bet on past events; also without an element of skill there is a danger of the competition being an illegal lottery. So, a panel of "experts" would "judge", from a photograph which had the ball removed, where they thought it should be, not where the ball actually was in the original photograph; then it is likely to be a prize competition.
