Bad redirect[edit]

Searching from Leuciscus cephalus redirects to this page, Squalius cii. This is a bad redirect. The former taxon Leuciscus cephalus is now several species in Squalius - Squalius cephalus, Squalius moreoticus, Squalius prespensis, and Squalius vardarensis - the latter three being formerly considered spp of S. cephalus. I can find no evidence that S. cii was ever considered a synonym for L. cephalus, now S. cephalus. This redirect should go to S. cephalus, not S. cii. Range[edit]

The article, citing Fishbase 2014, states this sp is endemic in Turkey. According to Fishbase (Feb 2018), the species is currently known only from Lesbos Island and streams draining to the southern Marmara Sea. Lesbos Island is in Greece, so the endemicity statement is incorrect. Ptilinopus (talk) 00:16, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
