Kotiya Or Diviya

[edit]

I am from Sri Lanka and 'Kotiya' refers (atleast in general language) to the tiger. "Diviya" , I think is the 'correct' colloquial term. - Mahela —Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.135.206.115 (talk) 16:59, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sri Lankan leopard

[edit]

Try Sri Lankan' leopard. I have no idea why Wikipedia would insist in omitting the n, when it is necessary to indicate that it originates from Sri Lanka. I could not find a single source that suggests that the n should be omitted, whilst several major sources suggest Sri Lankan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.2.168.215 (talk) 10:52, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
