I agree. 3 articles for the same school? 1 will do. EagleFan (talk) 18:02, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion on Notable Alumni

[edit]

Given the back-and-forth on some of the alumni and seeing the current list, I think that the list should only include those with some kind of notability; i.e., national notability, recognition, etc. I don't think that just being an athlete at the college level should count. And while being a CEO may be a big thing, SJJ has a lot of alumni who might count and being a CEO may be more of a temporal thing. Let's keep it pertinent to notability. Perhaps we ought to ask for outside sources. Therefore, I think the list should be culled down to the following (and I've bolded the reason for their notability):

I mostly agree except for your omission of Gary Louris and Doug Ducey. Although I am not familiar with Louris and the Jayhawks it seems to be a notable topic. Additionally, Ducey (who is now the former CEO of Cold Stone) was heavily involved in the expansion of the company which gained international attention. It think that he belongs on the list.
