Page Needs Updating

[edit]

The church depicted in the photograph is no longer standing in this location. A new large office building housing the new congregation and offices for the Archdiocese of New York was built on the spot in the 70s. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.201.163.76 (talk) 19:58, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I added very brief info regarding the demolition of the 1886 church and construction of the existing modern building on the same site. Also did a fair bit of cleanup in parts as much of the text was a muddled and incorrect interpretation of the citation.

The text in the info box needs updating too, apart from the picture of the demolished old church. --Threephi (talk) 04:32, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested merge

[edit]
  • Opposed - Simply because the Archdiocese of New York has merged the 'parishes involved is no reason to merge the articles, which deal not only with the parish but with the actual churches. In most cases, merging would be confusing for the readers. Beyond My Ken (talk) 06:06, 24 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
