Native Name of the Area[edit]

Previous iterations of this article had listed the name of the community as "Aggaamaakwaa which means 'at the grand opening,'" which might have come from the unfinished citation "Geographic Names of Manitoba (pg. 239) - the Millennium Bureau of Canada." A Google Books search did not reveal the word inside. Additionally, the only reference to a native name I located was in the 2001 Geographical Names of Manitoba report by Holm, which contradicted the claim: "[St. Laurent] previously had a Native name which meant the end of the lake.” Absent any more specific information, I opted to omit reference to its native name altogether.
