I'm confused. Fletcher Christian's table tomb is here according to church web site... but his body isnt. Can you explain... is it the family tomb? Victuallers (talk) 19:36, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're confused; I'm confused; and the author of the article about him in the ODNB is confused. He might have been killed in 1793 on Pitcairn Island; he might not, but returned to UK; he might even have lived with his family back in Cumberland (as it then was). I wonder if there is anyone out there who could check the inscriptions on the tombstone, or perhaps they're already recorded somewhere.--Peter I. Vardy (talk) 09:10, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
