Name of Church[edit]

I have thrice reverted a change which has added an apostrophe to the name of the church. The correct name of the church is St Leonards Church. This is confirmed by the citation I added from the Wendover deanery page of the Oxford diocese of the Church of England's website. It appears the editor deb has relied on an entry on the village website which frankly cannot match up to the level of authority of the Church of England. If there are other sites which can provide further clarification lets discuss then her first before making further changes, otherwise it would seem best to leave well alone.Tmol42 (talk) 18:10, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly, the entry I used as my reference the parish website - quite a different thing. The citation you added does not refer to the church as "St Leonards" but as "St Leonard". It merely gives its address as "St Leonards" - the name of the village where it is located. Deb (talk) 19:05, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, the church should either be referred to as "St Leonard's Church" (Buckinghamshire County Council) or the "Church of St Leonard" (English Heritage). - Scribble Monkey (talk) 09:22, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support the other article consists of one line, unreferenced, and refers to the church – nothing about Leonard himself. Richard3120 (talk) 03:18, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
