Contribution of New Information[edit]

I contributed significantly towards the biography of Stacy Jupiter. By reading interviews others have had with her and researching other articles about her work in marine science, I was able to provide a brief overview of her current work, expand on a few details about her education and the MacArthur Fellowship award, give background as to some life events which influenced her interest in marine science, and touch on some additional work Jupiter has been apart of. Being awarded the MacArthur Fellowship is only one of the many notable things Stacy Jupiter has accomplished and contributed to the world of marine science. As a result, I believe she also deserves acknowledgment for the additional work she has done in both her local community in Fiji and the conservation of the environment as a whole.
