References not inline[edit]

There's a every long list of source documents without any attempt to place them in context. Do they all really mention the helmet? The conservation project for the hoard finished in 2016. [1] So suggesting that there is ongoing work needs some reference.--FDent (talk) 21:04, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

FDent, I’m not entirely sure what’s going on with this thing right now. Both a paper on the helmet (by George Speake), and a book on the Staffordshire Hoard, were supposed to come out this year. The book is now “expected to appear” in 2019, so maybe the paper has been pushed back too? Perhaps dating the claim in the article to “as of 2016” would do the trick for the time being, what do you think? —Usernameunique (talk) 01:52, 11 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
