Ostrowo[edit]

I have left the 'Ostrowo' of 'working camp 4' mentioned in the summary of WO 311/948 un-wikilinked because I am currently uncertain precisely which Ostrowo it refers to. KenBailey (talk) 23:07, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fort Prittwitz[edit]

I wonder, if mentioned Fort IIIa Prittwitz is actually a place where PoWs were being held. There were two places in Poznań called "Fort Prittwitz", and, according to Alan Forster memories[p 1]: "Fort Prittwitz, identical to Fort Rauch, held Gaullist French soldiers". The "identical to Fort Rauch" structure is Fort Prittwitz - Gaffron (also called Reformaten-Fort), a part of inner, right bank fortification, now demolished, not the IIIa "Prittwitz", which is a part of newer, outer fortifications and still exist. Moreover, there's no other informations about camp located in Fort IIIa, even on linked UNIVERSUM company site - it only mentions that Fort IIIa was used as a military warehouse during WW2[p 2]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.200.68.62 (talk) 14:08, 22 July 2013 (UTC) [reply]

Thank you for this useful detail. If you can provide a suitable reference that "Fort Prittwitz - Gaffron (also called Reformaten-Fort), a part of inner, right bank fortification" was, (or at least was more probably), the place Foster refers to, OR that Fort IIIa was only used for storage, that would be very helpful and I will try to re-word the section appropriately. --KenBailey (talk) 18:08, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
