POV Argument[edit]

"While popular with much of his audience, he is vehemently unpopular with a large section of the population. This was exhibited most clearly when he, along with fellow talkback radio hosts Alan Jones and John Laws were mentioned unfavourably in the song "77%" by Sydney Hip Hop group The Herd.

"Talkback? Squawking hacks - won't relax until Jonesy, Zemanek and Laws are all axed."

I changed this paragraph which suggests he is 'vehemently unpopular' with a 'large section' of the population, being "exhibited most clearly" by little known band, The Herd, to Stan's own argument about being the most hated broadcaster in the country, and his own admissions of a strong right wing opinions. I don't believe there is a NPOV issue in the final paragraph unless someone wants to edit the bit about being right wing which was mentioned earlier in the article. Stupidity[edit]

Why is the fact that Stan had cancer a part of trivia?

Fair use rationale for Image:Chairman stan.jpg[edit]

Image:Chairman stan.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:17, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

It seems that IP:210.49.249.210 and User: YourBiggestFan are having a bit of fun vandalising the article. Please watch out for these two individuals (probably one person). Harrison-HB4026 02:18, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I noted some vandalism to his place of birth which I corrected. Capitalistroadster 03:51, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Start classification[edit]

I have classified this article as a start due to its level of detail and organisation. Capitalistroadster 03:51, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Chaser[edit]

Why is something as arbitrary and poorly thought through as the The Chaser's War On Everything tasteless skit even mentioned in Zamanek's article (going as far as describing "the nature of the controversy"). I propose this rather short-sighted addition be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.107.215.254 (talk) 12:28, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree the section was not appropriate and removed it. Next time, feel free to be bold and remove it yourself, anyone is allowed to edit Wikipedia. -- Mattinbgn\talk 12:38, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
