Built on a Roman fort?[edit]

I have read on some written info on Stanecastle keep that it was build on the site of a nunnery which in turn had been built on the site of a Roman fort. Is there any truth to this, archaeological evidence etc? AyrshireNeil (talk) 23:04, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Construction[edit]

The main article says the original keep was built around 1417 but the info bar at the right hand side says construction started around 1365. Should that not just say date constructed 1417 as well? - AyrshireNeil (talk) 15:49, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
