Conflict of interest[edit]

User:Carangil admitted, back in 2007, ""Oh dear. This is getting complicated. The story goes as this: I was given this by the authors of the StarShipSofa podcast to put on their wikipage (since I had previously made that entry)" From 27 February 2007 to 6 June 2008, he/she edited no articles except this one and related ones. --Orange Mike | Talk 23:25, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's pretty weak, unless you can point to some specific problems that have been caused by that user or any specific NPOV problems on the page as it stands - or even in that klarge block of content you just removed. The one thing I can think of is your addition regarding "lobbying", which may lean towards implying something unusual or nefarious. Artw (talk) 19:17, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The origins of the article are certainly a bit fishy, but that's not a crime. Maybe some of the more hyperbolic language could be cleaned up. The fact that folks keep turning up and adding more marketing-speak is annoying, but I'm not sure it's justification for keeping a COI warning on the text as it currently stands. --Chronodm (talk) 09:12, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
