Star Island is a wonderful place for kids and adults the kids have a lot of fun there and the parents enjoy a really nice confrence in the morning and socialize in the afternoon. Apparently, the Captain John Smith Memorial on Star Island is sadly deteriorating. It would be great if a local wikipedian might photograph it, so that we could have a look (and hopefully inspire some sort of fundraising or repair).
