Volume of imprecise use is no guide to a correct and precise use. The "billion flies" argument. The point of one article here is to be a disambiguation page: a linguistic disambiguation between similar words with obviously distinct meanings, i.e. the function and method of those machines. Another page needs to explain the underlying concept of "the steam generator concept", even if this is the most obscure use of the term "steam generator". Other articles, such as flash steam need to explain that there's remarkably little to that narrow concept, because most uses of it were themselves inaccurate (apart from Serpollet and model boats, nearly every "flash steam" device was actually a monotube). Based on the comments here, I disagree that there should be a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT or even a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC if there seems to be an issue if there should be a broad-concept article.
