Paul Mcartney bit at the end[edit]

I don't see why this article should have the whole bottom part dedicated to the work of Paul Mcartney. Children are not creative output, especially not when they have their own individual reasons for being profiled on wikipedia. I have removed the section, as I do not expect anyone to disagree with me. CarmenAutre (talk) 10:47, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sky Captain[edit]

I was under the impression that McCartney designed all the costumes for this film. Is the specific reference to those two actors intended just to indicate that it was a high profile project? Amo 19:56, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Married Name[edit]

Is there any proof that Stella McCartney has ever taken the name Willis from her husband, even personally or legally? I don't know that she's ever used it. I've never seen her credited as anything other than Stella McCartney. Layla12275 00:26, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Veganism and Fashion[edit]

My question is: If Stella is a strict vegan (meaning she won't consume animal products at all), why do I keep reading about clothing she has designed that is made from cashmere and wool? I believe I've also read that she's used silk? I'm confused, as these are all animal products.139.168.114.133 05:57, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Diana78[reply]

Just because you chose not to eat/consume animal products doesn't mean it has to continue into your professional life. Why does everyone assume vegans and vegetarians are holier than thou ? we're NOT ! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.106.168.151 (talk) 20:37, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

She is a vegetarian but not a vegan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.67.100.17 (talk) 01:00, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

She's lacto-ovo-vegetarian[edit]

According to The Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2009/oct/05/stella-mccartney-fashion-heartless), she eats egg and cheese, so she's not a strict vegetarian. I'm correcting the article. Robfbms (talk) 05:56, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stella McCartney Kids[edit]

The recently added text about Stella McCartney Kids is brochure material and not suitable for an encyclopedia. If material on this subject is to be added, it must be factual, neutral and referenced. --BwB (talk) 12:40, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It seems a bit strange that the only photo of person in the article is not of the subject LOL. (86.148.89.197 (talk) 20:13, 1 December 2013 (UTC))[reply]

So what?[edit]

Tagged on the end of the Early Life section is the statement, "Her mother was Jewish." And...? Har father is Liverpudlian. So what?

Hmmm. The premise for that story in The Forward (the American news media organization for a Jewish-American audience) is "Given the 71-year-old McCartney’s love affair with all things Jewish for the past half-century" and the title is "Secret History of Paul McCartney, the Jewish Beatle." So yes, it does look a bit partisan. Furthermore the article for Linda McCartney doesn't say she was Jewish. It just says: "Her father, Leopold Vail Epstein, was born in 1910 to Russian-Jewish immigrants" and "McCartney's mother, Louise Sara Eastman (née Lindner), was from a German Jewish family." Other than that, the word "Jewish" doesn't appear in the article at all. So it hardly seems to have been a defining characteristic. Martinevans123 (talk) 23:12, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Half-Sister listed as "Sister"[edit]

It's inconsistent to refer to one of her half-sisters (Heather) as a "sister" while referring to the other half-sister (Beatrice) as a "half-sister". It would be fine to refer to both as "half-sisters". It would be fine to refer to both as "sister", because that just means that this article's usage of "sister" includes "half-sister". But it's inconsistent to follow one rule for one of them and a different rule for the other one. I remind you gain that the rule against using Wikipedia as a source to impeach Wikipedia is equivalent to saying that Wikipedia should not aspire to be consistent.2600:1700:6759:B000:1C64:8308:33BC:E2D6 (talk) 06:10, 8 June 2023 (UTC)Christopher Lawrence Simpson[reply]
