( The following paragraph is now correct  :

One reason for this, may be that Setesdal stev are often more meditative ( or elegiac ), in regard to the stev text.[5] )

"The Meters of Stev" is placed near the end of the article.

Should this be located somewhere else, in the article ?

The reason that one has placed "The Meters of Stev", near the end of the article, is that

  • meters are not necessarily the most interesting reading, for quite a few people, the first time an article is read.

Also, *meters can be difficult to comprehend/grasp, in this type of article.

no locatable sources: —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.203.20.57 (talk) 08:58, 15 July 2008 (UTC) regarding : "no locatable sources": 1. The article now refers to a few locatable source (in the reference section). 2. Would it be possible to change the planned date of deletion, in some way? — P.S. One hopes to obtain the ISBN-number, for the book mentioned in references, within a few days. [reply]

Kvad

[edit]

( To illustrate the relationship between the words kvad'and kveding

From a relatively wellknown Christmas song :

"Jeg synger julekvad, jeg er så glad, så glad. "

( I am singing rhymes about Christmas. ) or
( I am singing Christmas songs. ), which would indicate that "kvad" and "song" were synonymous, more or less, "somewhere in Norway".

( To illustrate "kvad"s relationship with the word "kveding". ) Regards, Fantoft Åsane (talk) 12:36, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
