A fact from Steven Amstrup appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 29 October 2012 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
There are two conflicting dates for when Amstrup was awarded the Indianapolis Prize. Can someone confim when it was and correct the wrong year? 157.185.95.39 (talk) 13:28, 16 April 2014 (UTC)mjd[reply]
Actually, many of the references appear to be incorrectly dated (claimed to be retrieved two years before they were published, etc.) and many of the links are broken, so no longer serve as reliable reference. 157.185.95.39 (talk) 13:32, 16 April 2014 (UTC)mjd[reply]
It looks like a vandal changed several instances of "2012" to "2010" in the article. I think they've all been fixed now. And when I checked just now, only one of the reference links was broken. I fixed it. One external link was dead, so I removed it. --BDD (talk) 17:27, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
