Contested deletion

[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... it is about one of the most important accompanists, vocal coaches, song experts, and experts in contemporary song in America. Please take a look at his credits and the number of times his work has appeared in The New York Times. He is part of a circle of important musicians related to the Juilliard School of Music, Caramoor, and numerous other important music festivals. He is an expert in modern popular song. He has played on numerous important stages, not the least of which is Carnegie Hall. I am stunned by this "speedy deletion" request. I, Dorothy Potter Snyder, have no reason to promote Steven Blier. I am writing this article because he is a crucial and significant figure in contemporary music and he merits inclusion here. You will notice that people he has coached and recorded with are in Wikipedia. --Dorothy Potter Snyder (talk) 01:01, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
