– The two-sentence stub for Wikipedia's sole Steven Clifford is inadequate to serve as WP:PRIMARYTOPIC since the dab page's main title header could just as easily have been Stephen Clifford or Steve Clifford, each of whom appears to have had a higher public profile than the alpine skier. The parenthetical qualifier "(alpine skier)", rather than simply "(skier)", is analogous to Petar Angelov (alpine skier), Kim Clifford (alpine skier), Francisco Cortes (alpine skier), Bill Day (alpine skier), Peter Duncan (alpine skier), Rune Lindström (alpine skier), John Rigby (alpine skier), Luis Sánchez (alpine skier), James Walker (alpine skier) or Peter Wenzel (alpine skier), to name but ten. Alternatively, the disambiguation page may be proposed for deletion since each of its three unique entries — Steven Clifford, Stephen Clifford and Steve Clifford — needs a hatnote which points either to the dab page or to the other two entries. As of this writing, the dab page also contains a redlink, but no bluelink, for a CEO named Steven A. Clifford. If the CEO is ever deemed sufficiently notable for an entry in English Wikipedia, the matter may be revisited. The addition to the dab page of section header "See also" with Stormy Daniels' birth name, Stephanie Clifford, is probably unlikely. — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 07:13, 25 June 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. — Newslinger talk 23:36, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nom. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:26, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. All three articles are distinctly titled so I think I prefer your alternative suggestion of using hatnotes to bypass the dab page. PC78 (talk) 08:03, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. I don’t think deleting the dab page would work; somebody’s bound to re-create it, and hatnotes pointing to the dab are less cumbersome at the current articles than trying to cover both the other two. Note: The article Steven A. Clifford was deleted, so I removed the entry from the disambiguation page. — Gorthian (talk) 02:33, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom - no clear primary topic. Move disambiguation page to basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 01:54, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per WP:SMALLDETAILS. Each topic is sufficient for WP:PRIMARYTOPIC since none needs a qualifier: the technical problem disambiguation exists to solve simply doesn't exist here. The dab page is superfluous and could be deleted, and if it's "bound" to be re-created, it can be re-deleted and/or salted. -- JHunterJ (talk) 11:53, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per JHunterJ. Doesn't seem like any disambiguators are needed and hatnotes can take care of people in the wrong place.  — Amakuru (talk) 14:31, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
