ScifiterX's edit is correct: He was seen in a vegetative state around Uncanny #290 or thereabouts, and was kidnapped by the people who would become the Phalanx. The shadowy figures who he communicated with in Uncanny #100 were later revealed to be the Hellfire Club's pre-Inner Circle membership in a Classic X-Men backup story. However, this I'm not so sure about:

In the alternate future that Rachel Summers comes from he succeded in his plans and had most mutants exterminated or enslaved in concentration camps.

Was Lang specifically responsible for this? IIRC the main turning point cited there was Sen. Kelly's assassination, which happened after Lang's apparent death. He wasn't really that influential in the development of the Sentinels. -Sean Curtin 05:36, August 12, 2005 (UTC)

A sentinel with Lang's memories attacks Angel and Iceman some years later (I need to find specifics.) Worth mentioning in the article? Schissel | Sound the Note! 02:14, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
