Title and other matters

[edit]

I was going to move this article to "Stig Engström", but I notice there is an article with that title and it is about an actor.

Now, it seems that there is a non-zero chance that as the final report of the Palme investigation, expected by the end of June 2020, is released, Stig Engström the graphic designer will become at least the actor's equal in notoriety. If this happens, I think the articles should both be moved: this to "Stig Engström (assassin)", if it comes to that, and the other one to "Stig Engström (actor)". On principle, I think the title of an article about a historical person ought to be their name, but best to wait a couple of weeks instead of creating an interim title like "Stig Engström (graphic designer)", especially since it is not for his professional achievements that he is best known.

At any rate, if Engström is indeed officially named the killer, this article will get a substantial rewrite, and if not, a less substantial one, and most of what has been speculation until now will become official fact so we'll wait and see. But I have nevertheless made some little tweaks, mainly in the opening and biography sections. --Rallette (talk) 07:23, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed: title needs to change and “Stig Engström (assassin of Olof Palme)” seems sensible. JDAWiseman (talk) 15:31, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
