Socrates

[edit]

I read here: http://www.historyforkids.org/learn/greeks/philosophy/socrates.htm that this stoa was where Socrates taught. If this is true, it is surely worth mentioning. Myrvin (talk) 20:13, 13 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Myrvin, in my opinion this photo was taken in Olimpia, not in Athena. It is not Stoa Poikile (robertsurma). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.218.229.100 (talk) 13:05, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ancient Greek names

[edit]

ή ποικίλη στοά - it is not ancient Greek; AFAIK it is modern Greek. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.218.229.100 (talk) 12:48, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

#19 or #20 ?

[edit]

The picture's caption says #20 here, but the actual picture's caption says #20 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.28.145.174 (talk) 19:50, 25 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
