  • ... that a British monarch arrives at their coronation wearing a Robe of State, is anointed while wearing a Colobium sindonis, is crowned while wearing a Supertunica, Stole Royal and Robe Royal (examples pictured) and leaves Westminster Abbey wearing an Imperial Robe? Source: "Like the Queen, the King will enter Westminster Abbey in the Robe of State ... The King will change into the Colobium Sindonis for the anointing .. Supertunica ... It is placed over the Colobium sindonis for the investiture ... The late Queen wore a Coronation stole over the supertunica for her investiture ... The King may reuse it or have his own one designed ... The sovereign is also invested with the Robe Royal, or Pallium Regale, and is then crowned whilst wearing it ... At the end of the ceremony, the newly crowned sovereign processes out of the Abbey enrobed in the Imperial Robe" from: Ward, Victoria (16 February 2023). • Passes everything from what I can tell, I like this one because it goes on and on and on. Nomrally this would be poor form but I like it since it's in context of the upcoming coronation. Dr vulpes (💬📝) 21:13, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
