Much of the recently added content [1] [2] [3] seems to derive from a Stratasys owned site: http://www.dimensionprinting.com/company/company-stratasys.shtml rDNS on the editor suggest they're from Stratasys... is it safe to assume they have permission to repost the content? --GargoyleMT 02:18, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article is an advertisement, and does not meet the criteria of a Wikipedia article. As such, it should be deleted.Asarkof (talk) 17:34, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is blatant spam and should be deleted.

There's no reason it shouldn't have its own page. It's a real company that is notable in its field. Feel free to remove stuff that reads like spam to you. —Ben FrantzDale (talk) 00:11, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that it's a real company does not qualify it for having its own article. It does not include notable information or sufficient third-party references. It is purely an online advertisement that does not meet the criteria for article postings, and should be quickly deleted.Asarkof (talk) 12:35, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stratasys terms and conditions of sale [sneeky practices]

[edit]

Not sure how this should be fitted into the article - perhaps under a section contraversies? It relates to Section 8.2 of there terms of sale for there products [4] which lays claim to any intelectual property issued to the customer with respect to the design or usage of 3d printing devices:

"8.2. Customer hereby grants to Stratasys a fully paid-up, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, transferable right and license in, under, and to any patents and copyrights enforceable in any country, issued to, obtained by, developed by or acquired by Customer that are directed to 3D printing equipment, the use or functionality of 3D printing equipment, and/or compositions used or created during the functioning of 3D printing equipment (including any combination of resins, such as combinations relating to multi-resin mixing, color dithering or geometrical resin-mixture structure of the resin) that is developed using the Products and that incorporates, is derived from and/or improves upon the Intellectual Property and/or trade secrets of Stratasys. Such license shall also extend to Stratasys' customers, licensors and other authorized users of Stratasys products in connection with their use of Stratasys products. - See more at: http://www.stratasys.com/legal/terms-and-conditions-of-sale#sthash.WpF4IaYD.dpuf"

But if the editors are looking for something to substantiate a claim of notability for the company - surely this would qualify! Norlesh (talk) 17:59, 15 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Updating Stratasys Company Snapshot Box

[edit]

I am with Stratasys PR. The data in the Stratasys snapshot box is out of date and I would suggest some changes. First, while industry category of "Digital Printing" isn't inaccurate, "3D Printing" would be more precise. For example, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markforged. <ref>https://www.3dnatives.com/en/3d-printing-directory/stratasys/<ref> 2. Scott Crump is not the chairman any longer. Per our announcement, it is Dov Ofer: <ref>https://investors.stratasys.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/520/stratasys-appoints-dov-ofer-as-new-board-chairman<ref>. Others of note, Chief Operating Officer is Yossi Azarzar, Chief Marketing Officer is Tal Cohen, President Americas is Rich Garrity, Chief People Officer is Nava Kazaz, and Chief Financial Officer is Lilach Payorski. Per the management team webpage <ref>https://investors.stratasys.com/company-information/management-team<ref> 3. New full year revenue, operating income, and net income numbers: 2018 revenue: $663.2 million, 2018 GAAP operating income: -$8.8 million, 2018 GAAP net income: -$11.0 million <ref>https://investors.stratasys.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/486/stratasys-releases-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2018<ref>. 2019 revenue: $636.1 million, 2019 GAAP operating income: -$11.7 million, 2019 GAAP net income: -$10.8 million <rev>https://investors.stratasys.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/521/stratasys-releases-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2019<ref>. 2020 revenue: $520.8 million, 2020 GAAP operating income: -$456.0 million, 2020 GAAP net income: -$10.8 million <ref>https://investors.stratasys.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/727/stratasys-releases-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-2020<ref> 4. Subsidiaries list no longer correct

[edit]

  • What I think should be changed: Subsidiaries in company box should be as follows: MakerBot Industries and Stratasys Direct
  • Why it should be changed: According to the company's latest annual report filings, these are the subsidiaries. The others currently mentioned in the Stratasys company box are no longer or never were listed as subsidiaries. The company also lists geographic subsidiaries SEC filing, which I didn't include here, but could also be added.
  • References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button): https://sec.report/Document/0001213900-21-012467/#stratasys3639044-ex81.htm
